West Davis Highway

Are you excited about the new highway coming to the west side of Davis county? Set to open on January 6th, West Davis highway will continue from Farmington north to State Route 193 at the south end of West Point. It will include 16 miles of 4-lane divided road.

The highway will relieve traffic on I-15 as well as east/west roads that lead to I-15. It will also bring some changes in the landscape around the exits!

Change seems to happen slowly in cities, but just because you aren’t seeing any changes doesn’t mean there aren’t things in the works! As a resident of West Point, I’m personally excited about the commercial growth that will eventually be on the south end of the city at the junction of SR 193 and West Davis.

While construction is loud, dirty and seemingly forever, the end (or most of it) is near!
